Had a gutful of sluggish, unreliable internet out here? Mundaring's beautiful hills can play havoc with traditional broadband. Starlink changes the game, delivering high-speed, low-latency internet directly from space. Perfect for our semi-rural lifestyle, whether you're working from home, streaming, or schooling the kids. As a certified installer, we handle the whole job – finding the perfect clear-sky spot on your property and doing a tidy, robust mount that can handle our weather.
Big block, big lounge room, big TV — Mundaring homes are built for proper home theatre setups. We wall-mount the screen on the right bracket for the wall type (brick veneer, double brick, stud wall — they all need different fixings), run HDMI and speaker cable in-wall so nothing's visible, set up the AV receiver and the surround speakers, calibrate the room, and get the universal remote or app talking to the lot. Whether it's a Sonos Arc with a sub, a 5.1 in-ceiling install, or a full 7.2 setup with a projector — we'll do it once, do it properly, and leave the cables out of sight.
The Starlink Mini is the lighter unit — popular for granny flats, sheds, second dwellings, and anyone who doesn't want a big dish mounted up high. It's still got the same line-of-sight requirement, just a smaller footprint. In the Hills we usually mount the Mini on a side wall or a low pole where the canopy lets us, and tidy the cable run into the house so it doesn't look like a hack job.
If you've bought the kit yourself from Telstra, JB or direct from Starlink and just need it mounted and commissioned — that's the bread and butter. We supply the bracket or pole if your kit didn't include one, mount it to suit the block, run the cable neatly, plug the router in, get the app talking to the dish, and don't leave until you've got a real-world speed test on the screen.
The standard Gen 3 dish is what most Mundaring blocks end up with — bigger antenna, better tracking, less fussy about the gap in the canopy. We mount it on a non-penetrating roof bracket, a wall mount, or a ground pole depending on what your roof's doing and where the clear sky sits. Cabling gets routed properly, the dish gets earthed where needed, and the router goes somewhere central so the wifi actually reaches the back of the house.

Mundaring? Depends on the week — sometimes I'll do it myself, sometimes one of the local blokes who helps me out.
